On the 22nd of May at 18:00, artists from all over the world were invited by the Artragous group to walk with their suitcases from Solomou square to Kasteliotissa and exhibit its content. The suitcase can easily consist the extension of the body since it becomes a necessity for every traveller. The content differs according to the journey and that defines the title of its carrier: immigrant, refugee, student, solder, suicide- bomber or simply a porter. An everyday Cypriot expression like 'pack your suitcases', signifies multiple meanings. Every container is packed with ambiguities reflecting to various insecurities and always related to a personal interior/exterior style. Sometimes filled with hopes and others with memories.

My suitcase works as the reminiscence container of an actual occasion-the precise event on the 22-5-04. My container is the collector of the information and documentation, the personal experiences received during the short walk from Solomou Square to Kasteliotissa. At the expected destination, the experience is exposed through materialistic documents. My suitcase works as a miniature of the various luggage carried by myself in different occasions but also an autonomous conscious archive of an exact event and an affected future memory.
